PATH SURVEYS

With more than 25,000 surveyed microwave links to our credit, we have developed a highly rigorous survey method and launched AT University education courses to train and certify engineers and surveyors. In addition, our engineers use the most modern survey technology available, including sub-meter accuracy for measuring precise geograpATal coordinates. Using proprietary automation software, our microwave field surveyors remain in close contact with our engineers, which speeds the survey and engineering process.

To properly design a point-to-point microwave path, AT's Engineering Team:
  • Determines the exact tower site locations using state-of-the-art tools.
  • Determines terrain elevations using USGS Digitized Elevation Models and topograpATal maps.
  • Locates and measures all path obstructions, noting all potential obstacles.
  • Analyzes Fresnel zone clearances and path propagation anomalies.
  • Determines the minimum antenna center-line height needed to clear all obstructions.
AT ensures that 100% of its microwave paths are properly surveyed and designed. For system longevity and high reliability, we guarantee all our paths to be free of blockage at the time of survey.

Our path surveyors deploy to any location in North America and the Caribbean and have performed more than 25,000 surveys since 1999
